SUBMISSIONS FOR SOLOFEST

BEGIN EVERY YEAR ON SEPTEMBER 1ST

  • Your show must be either fully or mostly written and developed by the end of the year to perform in the new year's Solofest.

  • Recommend having a director or a coach

  • It is strongly recommended to have "tested" it out on a small audience (it could be just reading, staged reading, or informal performance)  

  • Understand what it means to not only write and perform your show, but understanding the tasks, costs and decisions producing your show

       Producing Your Show

Costs: Developing a Budget

  •  Designers: Graphic, Qlab (all shows are required to be in Qlab)

  •  Marketing (getting a review, placing ads)

  • Publicist

  •  Director, Developer, and or Coach

  •  Possible extra rehearsal time in theatre

  •  Needing to buy sound cues, videos, music, images
